Securing our customers' data and privacy in Valotalive

 Privacy by design

 

Privacy by design and fair terms in the data management have been the foundational ideas in Valotalive. In order to be GDPR compliant we have performed an internal gap analysis to identify the tasks where we needed to work.  

 

As part of the process we have researched the data that Valotalive servers are collecting and have identified that we have kept the amount to the minimum from the very beginning.  

 

Fair terms in the data protection

 

Transparency is one of the core values for startups and this has been the case with Valotalive as well. We have already offered to provide the information about the stored data before preparing for GDPR.

 

Updated Privacy Policy

 

 

Preparing for GDPR was a fairly easy task for us as we had already taken many steps intuitively along the way.

 

 

As the final step we have updated our Privacy Policy in two paragraphs. We have described the information that we are collecting and we have described the external services that we are using. Everything else seemed to be in place already.

 

 

 

 

Continuous process to secure our customers’ data and privacy

 

Securing our customers data and privacy is a high priority to Valotalive and we give GDRP a warm welcome. We will take continuous actions to evaluate our policies and to develop our processes even further around customer privacy and data protection.
